Terms of Use.

1. Introduction

Welcome to LFGT – Let’s Get Fit Together! These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of our fitness tracking, community, marketplace, and coaching platform. By creating an account or using LGFT, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Eligibility & Data Privacy (NDPA)

You must be at least 13 years old to use LFGT. If you’re under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian.

  • Identity Verification: Verifying your identity using a National Identity Number (NIN / vNIN) is optional for general users who simply want a verified "blue tick" profile badge. However, identity verification is strictly required before a user can launch a Merchant Shop or apply to join the LGFT Certified Coach marketplace.
  • NDPA Compliance: By submitting your identity documents, you provide explicit legal consent for LGFT to verify your details through NIMC-accredited partners. This data is strictly used for anti-fraud compliance, marketplace safety, and bank-account name matching. We will never sell your personal data.

3. Content & Community Conduct

LGFT is a safe, inclusive fitness community. We operate a zero-tolerance policy for inappropriate behavior.

  • You agree not to post sexually explicit media, harassment, body shaming, hate speech, or deceptive "miracle transformation" scams.
  • LGFT reserves the unilateral right to suspend or permanently ban any user, coach, or shop violating these community guidelines without refunding current subscription fees.

4. Health & Liability Waivers

LGFT is designed to support your fitness journey, but we are a software provider, not a healthcare facility or personal training agency.

  • Not Medical Advice: Workouts, training programs, and meal plans provided on LGFT (by algorithmic features or human coaches) do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
  • Assumption of Risk: You acknowledge that physical exercise carries an inherent risk of injury or death. You agree to participate voluntarily and release LGFT from any personal injury liability.
  • Instructor Non-Employment & Certified Coaches: Instructors, trainers, and coaches on the platform—including those who have been vetted and awarded the "LGFT Certified" badge—are independent third-party creators and independent contractors. They are not employees, partners, or agents of LGFT. The "LGFT Certified" designation simply indicates the creator passed our initial platform vetting and credential review. LGFT assumes no vicarious liability for their actions, advice, or services.

5. Wallets & CBN Compliance

To comply with Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) regulations and our payment partners (e.g., Paystack), the LGFT Wallet operates under strict guidelines:

  • No Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Transfers: Users cannot transfer wallet balances directly to other users. Funds may only move for authorized business transactions (e.g., buying a program or physical good).
  • Non-Convertibility: Consumer refund wallets hold promotional or refunded value only. They are strictly non-convertible to cash and hold zero cash-out value.
  • Account-Binding for Earners: verified Coaches and Merchants may withdraw earnings, but only to a bank account that exactly matches the legal name verified on their NIN.

6. Shop & NAFDAC Compliance

Merchants operating a storefront on LGFT agree to sell items strictly related to fitness, health, and wellness.

  • Prohibited Items: We explicitly ban the sale of anabolic steroids, HGH, prescription-only drugs, unapproved fat-burners, performance-enhancing substances on the WADA list, and expired supplements.
  • NAFDAC Registration: All ingestible health and nutritional supplements listed by shops must strictly adhere to NAFDAC registration and labeling requirements.
  • Logistics Disclaimer: LGFT provides the software storefront. Merchants bear 100% legal responsibility for product authenticity, packaging, shipping, delivery tracking, and courier failures.

7. Fraud Operations & Chargebacks

  • Settlement Holds: To protect buyers, seller funds are subject to a brief escrow clearing window before they can be withdrawn to bank accounts.
  • Right to Freeze: We reserve the explicit right to temporarily freeze wallets and pause payouts during routine fraud investigations, suspicious rapid-velocity transactions (AML caps), or payment chargeback investigations.
  • Chargeback Liability: Sellers are ultimately liable for fraudulent chargebacks or undelivered goods. Dispute balances can and will be debited directly from future wallet earnings.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on LFGT, including logos, graphics, and platform design, is the exclusive property of LFGT. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or use any of our proprietary content without written permission.

9. Changes & Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms of Use. We may also update these Terms from time to time; significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of LFGT constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
